ISLAMABAD: The capital police have included two more sections in a case pertaining to the rape and murder attempt on a four-year-old girl, Dawn has learnt.

The sections of PPC added to the FIR include 376 (3) (Whoever commits rape of a minor or a person with mental or physical disability, shall be punished with death or imprisonment for life and fine) and 364A 9 (Kidnapping or abducting in order to murder), the police stated.

Earlier, father of the girl, a government of ficial, requested the police to include these two sections of PPC to the FIR registered following the incident on July 8, the police said.

T Hey said that the police had initially registered the case on the charges of PPC 324 (murder attempt) and 377B (punishment of sexual abuse), they added.
