Man, woman killed for ‘honour’ – May 25, 2017

JACOBABAD: A woman and her alleged lover were gunned down in Hazoor Bux Mugheri village in an alleged case of honour killing here on Wednesday.

According to Manzoor Ahmed, an official of Moula Dad Police Station, Noor aka Nooro Mugheri allegedly killed a youth named Sadam Mugheri, who was said to be an alleged paramour of his real married sister Ms Suhni Mugheri, and after committing the crime he informed his father Bhudho Mugheri of the crime and the then his father Bhudho Mugheri allegedly shot his daughter dead named Suhni, aged around 20, wife of Barkat Ali Mugheri, in village Hazoor Bux Mugheri. According to police, both the parties are close relatives of each other and are residents of the same village.

Area police reached the spot and moved the body of the deceased woman to Civil Hospital Jacobabad for an autopsy and handed over her body to her relatives after conducting post-mortem examinations.
