SAHIWAL: A man shot dead his wife in village 71/4-R late on Wednesday.

Three months ago, Husnain Hyder married Iqra Bibi. Halima Bibi, mother of Iqra, told reporters on Thursday a few days back, Iqra came to her parents` after a domestic dispute between the couple.

Late on Wednesday, Hyder with two unidentified people came to his in-laws and shothiswife dead andfled.

The Noor Shah police registered a murder case against Hyder and handed over the body to the family after autopsy.

ACCIDENT: A man andhis son were killed in a road accident on Pakpattan Road near Chak Jeewan Shah on Wednesdaywhenacar and their motorcycle collided.

The car driver fled.

Deceased were identified as Muhammad Atif (22) and father Ghulam Mustafa (55).

Rescue 1122 shifted bodies to the Arifwala Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. The police registered a case.
