NOWSHERA: Police recovered the body of sub-inspector Yar Mohammad Khan from the graveyard of Kheshgi area here late on Wednesday night.

Yar Mohammad, a resident of Upper Dir, was getting training at the centre of Hakeemabad, police sources said.

Mohammad Darwaiz Khan, brother of the deceased, told Nowshera Kallay police station that Yar Mohammad was on leave and spent a night in the home of a relative at Bughdada, Mardan, and later his mobile went off.

He said that they had not enmity with anyone.

The police brought the body to the DHQ Hospital, Nowshera, for autopsy where doctor confirmed his death from bullet wounds.

Police registered an FIR and have started investigation.

Meanwhile, a man killed his mother over petty domestic issue here at Dag Baisood, Pabbiarea, on Thursday.

Police sources said that Haroonur Rasheed shot dead his mother over a domestic issue.

Tayeeb Ullah, brother of the accused, while filing an FIR in Pabbi police station said that he was informed by someone that his brother had killed their mother.

The police registered the case and have started investigation.
